My mother (Velma Friedman) told me 60 years ago I had to join NCJW and not just sit around – 30 years later I was asked to be on the Board and purchased a membership for my husband (Martin). He was very involved with Fashion Spree – his family owned B. Siegel Company and he was the manager. I have always been grateful to my mom for giving me a membership to NCJW.
