I was in need of taking some time out of my life to help others.  A friend suggested this organization and I dove in because I found intelligent, sophisticated and  educated women working together for the cause of the organization.  Not for the covet of or working up the hierarchy.  It is such a refreshing idea to work together for the purpose of NCJW: “improving the quality of life for women, children and families by safeguarding individual rights and freedoms.”  We all have our specific interests and NCJW/ greater Detroit,  provides a niche for everyone in everyplace in our community.
